Hire/lessons
We’re qualified international instructors offering lessons and hire 7 days a week between
November and April. No experience required. Our local beaches are sand bottom, ideal for learning. We’re also involved with the local kids surf school, so creating a safe environment
is essential. All kids under 10 receive one on one attention. We love the barter system, so if you’re a small group, or want to stay a few days then we offer excellent package deals. Booking is not essential, you can just call into the shop. Call us for a surf report, to make sure you head to the beach when the waves are best.
We have an awesome range of learner boards, ra
nging from 6 to 9 feet long. Our soft top learner boards are safer if you wipe out. We also offer hi-performance surfboards for the experienced surfer. We stock wetsuits from small kids to 3XL. Also available for hire are bicycles with board racks. We can provide roof racks to fit most cars. We also have a fully equipped trailer and 7 seater car to transport you if required.
Board and wetsuit hire - $50 per day inc. Customers will be advised on surf conditions and the best spot to suit ability on the day.
Lessons - $100 for 2 hours per person, and free use of equipment for the day after the lesson if conditions suit. This price includes transport and equipment. Lessons are offered one-on-one or group session-maximum 8 per group. Bookings are only essential for larger groups, for one-on-one sessions or small groups no booking is required.
